GLASS SEEDBEDS NURSERY
This is the only glass greenhouse used as a seedbed nursery in the province of Almeria.
The facility is dedicated to the production of market garden plants, using cutting-edge technologies and is strictly isolated from external climatic conditions.
The production of grafts is centralised here, a delicate task in which even the slightest of errors is not permitted, and in which Almeriplant has achieved complete efficacy. |
SEEDING UNIT
This facility has a surface area of 2,000 sq m and is equipped with the following:
• 3 automatic seeding lines
• Germination chambers occupying 400 sq m, with automatic temperature and humidity control
• A line for washing and disinfecting trays
• A robotised transplanting machine
• An automatic seeding and rockwool cutting line
GRAFTING UNIT
The whole process is done in sealed compartments with temperature, light, humidity and sanitary control.
We have an area of 600 sq m m2 with a grafting zone and line with a work capacity for up to eighty operators.
These facilities are equipped with 4 computer-controlled cultivation chambers. There is also a conditioned area for the plants that have been taken from the cultivation chambers. |
